List of Nominees (Federal MDAs, State Governments & CSOs) for the 2021 National Human Rights Awards (NHRA) has been released by the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC).

The IIP-SARS has again ordered the Nigerian Police Force to produce DCP Abba Kyari and four other Officers of the IGP-Intelligence Response Team (IRT) to appear before it on 25th November 2021 over the alleged unlawful detention of two brothers, Mr. Matthew Ella and Mr. Patrick Ella who were said to have been detained since December 2019.

The Independent Investigative Panel on allegations of human rights violations by the defunct Special Anti - Robbery Squad (SARS) and other units of the Nigerian Police on Wednesday has ordered the Inspector General of Police to continue treating Julius Ogalanya, a victim of police gunshot, until full recovery.
